The traditional innovation day took place at the Defence Forces Academy, bringing together the university’s students, staff, defense industry companies, and representatives from research institutions. In various workshops, the parties shared knowledge and also sought solutions to real problems in the defense sector. The Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association was represented at the innovation day by CEO Kalev Koidumäe, who gave a presentation on the local defense industry, cooperation opportunities with companies, the importance of innovation in product development, and participated in a workshop where solutions were sought to the problem of tracking defence forces logistics transport.
