Last week Estonia’s defence industry delegation had the privilege to visit South Korea together with our Minister of Defence, Hanno Pevkur.
The goal of the visit was to strengthen the visibility of Estonian companies in South Korea’s defence ecosystem and explore new opportunities for cooperation with one of the world’s most innovative defence markets.
We are proud that during the visit, Estonian company Marduk Technologies signed an MoU with Hanwha, marking a significant step forward in developing joint capabilities and partnerships.
In total, 10 Estonian defence companies took part — showcasing cutting-edge technologies, building strong industry connections, and reinforcing Estonia’s role as a trusted and capable partner in international defence cooperation.
A big thank you to the Estonian Embassy in the Republic of Korea, our Minister of Defence, and our industry partners Hanwha and LIG Nex1 for making this visit a success and for their strong support throughout the program.

Thank you Nortal, Strobil, Jetflite, TOCI production & engineering, Marduk Technologies, Baltic Workboats Ltd, Go Craft, Milworks, Defendec Ltd and Milrem Robotics for your contribution.

The momentum continues — and we look forward to advancing our cooperation further!
