The EDF and the Ministries of Defence of Estonia and Finland are supporting the Estonian defence industry company KrattWorks’ “BadB” project with a €6 million investment

The European Defence Fund (EDF) and the Ministries of Defence of Estonia and Finland (Kaitseministeerium / Ministry of Defence of Estonia & Puolustusministeriö – Försvarsministeriet – Ministry of Defence of Finland) are supporting the Estonian defence industry company KrattWorks’ “BadB” project with a €6 million investment.

The BadB project will focus on the development of ground and air navigation solutions that do not rely on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). The solution will use satellite map data and machine learning algorithms to determine positioning.

The project consortium consists of four companies from three countries, three of which, together with the company supporting the project, are members of the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association.
