In mid-March, Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur visited the Karlskrona naval base and Saab shipyard together with the Estonian Defence Industry Association and Defence Estonia cluster companies, participated in defence industry business seminars and the swearing-in ceremony of the Estonian Honorary Consul in Karlskrona.
One of the highlights of the visit was the signing of the MOU between Marduk and Saab. From the industry’s perspective, the main objective of the visit was to intensify cooperation in order to pave the way for new joint projects. In order to achieve this, it was necessary to meet with representatives of the Swedish defence industry in order to initiate initial contacts and start exchanging ideas.
