Yesterday, Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur visited Estonian defence industry company 5.0 Robotics, which develops compact and mobile CNC machines that can be controlled by AI. The aim of the visit was to introduce the technology, which enables the production of critical defence spare parts directly outdoors, providing a fast and efficient solution in critical situations.

Their solutions offer a significant tactical advantage and will be an important element in the development of the next generation of defence technologies. In addition to the EKTL delegation, the visit was also attended by Meelis Kiili, Member of the State Parliament, and Mikk Tarros, Advisor to the Minister of Defence.
