On 19–21 October we welcomed a strong delegation of Danish defence and dual-use companies to Tallinn. The programme at Swissôtel Tallinn included a panel on industrial cooperation and capabilities, insights into Danish and Estonian procurement plans, and an afternoon of B2B and B2G meetings. On the final day, the delegation visited Estonian companies on site.
A highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association and DI Danish Defence and Security Industries. The MoU strengthens cooperation between the Estonian and Danish defence industries and lays the groundwork for closer ties between our member companies.
A big thank you to the Embassy of Denmark in Tallinn and Captain Visti Salomonsen, Danish Defence Attaché to the Baltic States, and to our partners CenSec – Center for Defence, Space & Security , Dansk Erhverv Forsvar, DI Danish Defence and Security Industries, DALO and EIS | Enterprise Estonia Estonia. The visit was co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark – The Trade Council. Thank you also to all the speakers from Estonian Centre for Defence Investments // Riigi Kaitseinvesteeringute Keskus, Kaitseministeerium / Ministry of Defence of Estonia and the Force Transformation Command for sharing their insights.
Special thanks to the Estonian companies who opened their doors for the site visits: Milrem Robotics, KrattWorks, 5.0 ROBOTICS, CybExer Technologies, DefSecIntel Solutions, Marduk Technologies, Rantelon, Maru Defence, Threod Systems, Nortal and Electric Wings Group. And a warm thank you to Foodforce for hosting the delegation for lunch!
