Last week, the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association hosted Māris Krievs, the Chairman of the Council of the Latvian Security and Defense Industry Federation, and Robert Juodka, a Board member of the Lithuanian Defense and Security Industry Association, in Tallinn for an official meeting of the defense and security industry associations of the three Baltic countries.
The meeting discussed the current situation of the regional defense industry and reached an agreement to create an official cooperation framework to launch intra-regional cooperation projects.
The crises in Ukraine and the Middle East show that closer cooperation between the Baltic states is key to promoting common goals, industrial development, and innovation.
