Protecting the country doesn’t just happen on land, but also at sea, and the Estonian company Alunaut makes sure that maritime security is carried out with the right tools.
Alunaut, based in Saaremaa, produces aluminium speedboats mainly for military, law enforcement and rescue organisations: the Finnish, Dutch and Belgian navies, German and Norwegian rescue organisations, the German and Swiss police, the Latvian border police, the European Union’s border and coast guard agency Frontex, etc. From product development to certification of the finished product, delivery and user training, all stages are carried out in-house.
It is impressive that Estonian defence industry companies and EKTL members have such a broad reach, ranging from land to space and from sea to cyberspace.
