The Annual General Meeting of the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association (EKTL) took place on 2 June in Tallinn. The sector’s turnover reached €730 million in 2025, with exports accounting for €450 million — the sector is well on its way towards the €2 billion turnover target set for 2030.
New supervisory board members were elected and the next steps for the sector were discussed: localisation legislation, cooperation with the Defence Forces and growing export capacity.
We thank Prime Minister Kristen Michal, DAPA Director General Elmar Vaher and Head of the National Security and Defence Coordination Bureau of the Government Office Erkki Tori for their insightful presentations!
