This week, EDIA’s CEO joined a business delegation accompanying the President of the Republic of Estonia on a state visit to Lithuania. Several companies from the defence industry sector were also part of the business delegation. During the visit, the cooperation agreement between the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association and the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association was renewed.
The CEO of the Association comments: “Cooperation between Estonia and Lithuania in the defence sector is very practical and in good shape. The changing security situation only adds momentum to this cooperation, as the defence industry is part of every country’s defence capability, and cooperation among the Baltic states in this field is critically important for all parties.”
During the visit, two Estonian companies, CR14 and Kappazeta, also signed memorandums of cooperation with their Lithuanian partners.
