Threod Systems is one of the fastest growing defense companies in Estonia, whose technology was already in use in Ukraine before the start of the full-scale war. Despite the difficult economic climate, the company has increased its business volume several times in recent years and hopes to continue expanding in this way.
Threod’s fully electric Eos C VTOL unmanned observation aircraft, eOPIC electro-optical camera systems and CATA attack drone launch platforms are used by the internal security and armed forces of 25 countries, including the armed forces of 7 NATO countries and Ukraine.
According to the company, in addition to the labor problem, Estonia also lacks training areas where defense companies can safely test their products. Therefore, Threod tests several of its products in Africa.
